The Convergences Institut #DigitAg has been launched

Montpellier SupAgro, Amphithéâtre Philippe Lamour, 2 Place Viala, Montpellier.

L’Institut Convergences #DigitAg is a partnership which is led by Irstea, gathers 17 actors, including public organizations ofresearch and education and private companies. It aims at accelerating and supporting the development of digital agriculture with new tools and services for companies that are in France and other southern countries .

The inauguration of the institute will take place Friday, June 30 at 1.00 pm in Montpellier SupAgro, in the presence of the 17 companies.

Digital technologies are a major area of innovation to transform agriculture and face four requirements: competitiveness, food safety, respect of the environment and the guarantee of correct living conditions for farmers.

Partner of this project, Vivelys is involved as a founding member with 7 other firms.
